Agreement Collapse is a gravity simulation that repeatedly drops a pink 3D model onto a perfectly mirrored surface amidst blue cloudy sky. The result is the perception of a gracefully floating form and an abrupt disorienting collision. The 3D model is formed from motion capture data of a handshake; a symbol of agreement, and the idyllic sky is illusory. Combining the notion of a handshake agreement and the emergency of climate collapse, this piece ponders the failure of international accords and agreements to limit CO2 emission and global temperature rise.
